Yay! New Job!

Postby Xanth » Fri Jan 03, 2014 7:07 pm

So, today was my last day at my horrible, crummy job!

This new year is starting off extra fresh for me, because on Monday I start my NEW job! \o/

For those who don't know, I've been extremely super miserable at my current job at an Interior Design place in Downtown Toronto.
Starting Monday, I start a new job which is a 5 minute drive from my house and is a place with a much better atmosphere! They also have an OFFICE DOG!! \o/

I'm really looking forward to this new start. :D

Good Luck and keep up that Positive attitude and outlook. It's good to hear that you are starting this New Year off right and on a positive note! :)

Out with the old, in with the new! ;)

Good luck in the new (and better) job!

And give the dog a nice pat on the head every time you enter the office. It might also help to keep up your good vibes during work time and - as animals are natually always in this state - be in the Now, but I strongly guess you know that already anyway. :)

Good things come to those that wait.
You've waited and it's come, let's hope for many years of wanted service and the office dog likes you too.

Just wanted to let everyone know how things are going!

I've been at my new job for a month now... and things are a complete turn-around from my previous position.
The best part is that I leave work at 5pm and I'm home 6 minutes later! Certainly can't beat that.
But then there's my bosses and co-workers... everyone is just so fantastic! I'm so happy to be working there.
I used to absolutely dread getting up each morning... now it's almost a pleasure! Y'know... besides the whole getting up early thing, but meh... hehe

So yeah, I'm so much better now than I ever have been in the last two years. :)

It's like Lion always says, "Change your job, change your reality"... or did I get that wrong? {wink}

Oh it's going absolutely fantastic!
The atmosphere is a complete 180 from that place downtown.
Sometimes I sit here and fear that I'm going to wake up from this dream and have to go back to that horrid place. LoL

So basically, I'm the Lighting Coordinator where I am now... I rent out movie set lighting to all the big productions in North America (and the world really).
It's quite cool, I must say! :)

HA! No worries! Please feel free to necro any thread you want to add to. :)

I have no problem with re-affirming just how AWESOME my job is. Yes, it can be utterly boring at times... but what makes it REALLY fun is that I'm surrounded by amazing people who make the day just that much better. hehe
