I dom't understand the question. Do you mean you get lucid, you try to leave the scene? Or what?

Yeah, I agree with CFT, you'll have to give us a bit more description to go on. :)

Do you mean the projection literally freeze like when a computer application bugs and you have to reset? I have experienced something like that a few times, the projection just froze out. If that is what you meant, I have no idea what to do about it, just keep projecting, it can't happen all the time. During one of my experience, i acquired lucidity and decided to fly off. Upon doing so, it froze out. It was as if the insertion of the lucidity and flying variables didn't fit the dream application and created a simulation bug or something like that if we compare it to computers and virtual realities.

I've never had it 'freeze' before.
But I do know what it feels like KNOWING it is going to end before it happens....
Try what you will, but you know it is over.
Perhaps, it is part of the ending period of the lucid dream, and for each of us it is different.
It only happens at the very end before you wake up? Then it's not a problem. That is simply your style!
I close my eyes and see what I can see, whatever it may be.
It could be the sea, or I could see a bee.
Don't you see? It doesn't matter to me. Just let it be!

I really don't understand what you mean by your initial post here, luciddreamer.

So when you're dreaming, you recognize that just before you wake up everything (including yourself) freezes? You'll need to clarify what you mean. :)

What can you do?
Are you physically awake but frozen?
Stuck in the dreamstate with full physical awareness?
These will help everyone answer you.
