If you can go to the internet with your phone you probably have google installed in it, even if you didn't install it. Many service plans use google for the ip provider. I know mine does.
They can also access the camera in your laptop. One possible fix is to have tape over the camera lens when you don't plan to instagram with anyone else. But if you have hotmail, microsoft email, you've got google. So, winkie winkie.

most new laptops have cameras built into them. And all smart phones have cameras built into them. If you have a laptop, look at the top of the screen. If you see a little circle in the middle top section of the frame, that's your camera.

Not that I don't believe you, Lder... but I'm gonna need to an actual article or something to back this one up, otherwise it kind of sounds a bit on the conspiracy side.
I'm not saying that there aren't apps out there where *YOU* can remote control the camera on your phone, but to covertly place this software in facebook... that's not just wrong, it's highly illegal.

It was destroy facebook... figuratively and literally. This isn't really something they could hide.

If it's untrue, I shall continue using it.
It it's true, I shall be removing it.

But I'd like some actual evidence to support it. :)

You know, I didn't realize that you were talking about facebook. For some reason I saw 'google' in it and remember that there was something going around about google doing it instead.
Since Facebook is simply something you can delete and destroy, I can't imagine how anything FB does can become mandatory. The techno-geeks that have talked about the new photo-app say that it's not that good, so I just can't see how that can be. So, I wouldn't worry about FB, if there is something to worry about, it's google. They're the ones who tell you they can use your info whenever they want to and can get it however they want to, since they can read your email, if it's google supported, or use their search engine, which is, as I said before, ubiquitous.

The wording IS there...
But that's not what the wording means.
It's simply the wording that google uses in reference to camera and microphone usage in connection with a mobile device.

If Facebook DID use it to covertly spy on people... they would destroy themselves overnight. Literally.
Their mobile presence while they hold so dear right now would evaporate into nothing. That's called a "bad business model". LoL
