My piano recording

Postby Jettins » Sat Apr 13, 2013 7:28 pm

Hello,

I've been learning to play piano for the past 8 months or so. Below is an mp3 file with my latest recording. I am not much of a pianist, but I am learning.

Chopin Op.10 No.3

That was pretty damn good, if you ask me. Only eight months?

To me, the piano and the violin are the most beautiful instruments as far as expressing emotions. :) 8-) :x :P

I'm getting much better at it but I still get a little envious of you musically talented folks.

I can play some popular riffs on the guitar but if my cat's response, is any indication, I must be merciful and not seek out an audience yet.

Yeah, about 8 months. It's all muscle memory, don't ask me to play the song any differently, I couldn't do it.

So far I've only learned two songs. Here is the other one:

I can't play in front of people without getting stressed out and making blatant errors. It took me more than a few tries to get them with less errors. I uploaded a second song, it was a bit harder for me.

Thanks

Piano :) A beautiful instrument :D
And besides that, i'm a fan of film scores, so I found he's a pirate really nice :)
Maybe something to learn in the future:

Succes on your learning, hope to hear more of the piano pieces you try :)

I liked the Pirate too.
You're doing well for 8 months, keep it up and you'll be better than L Einaudi. He's the one with the flowing style that melts your soul into the perfect harmony of a summers afternoon.
Love music, love life, love you to match his style even more.

I had 'thanked' you in appreciation, you're a natural. But I had to come in and say I could see Cap'n Jack toddling around with a bottle of rum in his hand, in my head.
