Well, I learned of this board through Xanth, on a different forum. I guess I should probably introduce myself:

I've had some bad luck trying to lucid dream. I never seem to get it. I get close, then it fades away. Not unlike some things in dreams. It's been like this far over a year now. I have reason to believe it's due to my fear of sleep paralysis.

I also play hockey, guitar, yoyo, started parkour last summer, and most recently picked up pen spinning. I'm starting a yoyo company with a friend of mine manufacturing hi-tech modern yoyo's. I also have some pretty philosophical viewpoints for a 15yo (IMO). Hope to see you guys around!

Hey Wildcat!

That's a pretty good business it looks like you're beginning! I wish you all the best with it! :)

As for Lucid Dreaming, post in the Projection Question forum about what you've been trying and we'll see if we can't jumpstart your projections!

Welcome wildcat...

Don't be scared of SP... or the nonphysical... it wont hurt you.

I've probably had over 4 thousand SP episodes. Some of them very scary... most of them very 'not' scary. But at the end of the day... I haven't harmed myself nor been harmed and I am ok.

Some people who know me may disagree... but all in all it's helped me achieve a take on life that has evidently enhanced my outlook.

Welcome Wildcat ! Makes me happy when I see people that want to work for themselves and invest their money on something THEY want to do ! You'll be successful, just don't give up no matter how slow sales may seem at first.
Don't let yourself fool you, you are something great !

Thanks everyone for the advice! I've been trying MILD and am about to start trying the WBTB technique. If all goes well, I should be lucid dreaming soon.

Yeah, that's me. I've actually improved a lot since then, but that's my only video. I might be filming another one soon since I'm on Spring Break now. I'll post it in Unrelated if I do.

I watched it and then looked forlornly up at my marionette puppet that has all it's strings twisted up... and just thought... 'I know a guy who could probably un-tangle them just by looking at them'.

I can't find the video, but you should totally check out a dude from China's got talent... He merged tai chi with yoyo and the zodiac. It was brilliant! He was a finalist, but lost to some circus chick. His dream was to spread the wonders of yoyo with the world... I was so pissed when he lost. It was all cause the girl started crying. Oh! And welcome! haha!

The video is found when you click on the word "Yoyo" in my original post.
